Join us for a farm tour of Frampton Court Estate
We meet at the Wool Barn in Frampton on Severn at 6pm and, using a farm trailer, we take you on a tour of Frampton Court Estate, explaining the management of the estate and some of the highlights and challenges.
The farm tour is conducted by the Cliffords, whose family has lived here for almost 1,000 years – which makes them pretty good tour guides! After an introductory welcome at the Wool Barn, the tour journeys across some of the estate’s 1,600 acres, taking in the mainly arable, pasture, grassland, woodland, lakes and ponds.
You’ll learn about the estate’s Sites of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI) and the important environmental stewardship we undertake, including large areas for the preservation and conservation of wild birds and wildflowers, and the internationally important wetland.
Our farm tour is a real eye-opener and a unique opportunity to see behind the scenes of an historic working country estate in the 21st century. Previous visitors on the tour have told us how stunned they were and surprised at what they learned, and we hope you’ll feel the same.
We really look forward to welcoming you on 1st August.
Numbers are limited by the size of the trailer, so please book early.
