Here is The Orangery at its most splendid - stand in the octagonal hall or on the staircase and the sophistication of this eccentric building is revealed in all its glory. The fantastic cantilevered stone staircase spirals up to the first floor and beyond to the roof, and the doorways are beautifully designed with ogee-arched frames.
