With its carved hardwood king-sized bed, beautiful vintage textiles from around the world and duck-egg walls, Rumble Jumble is a unique experience. It has an enormous en-suite complete with over-sized soaker shower, vintage furnishings and hand-painted Mexican tiles.
Mad Pear
Full of original features like an original fireplace, exposed structural beams and exquisite elm floorboards, Mad Pear infuses French flair with its carved oak King-sized bed and painted washstand. The room includes an adjoining en-suite with soaker shower and hand-painted basin and boasts the best views over the walled-garden.
Green Underleaf
Green Underleaf is quintessentially English with stunning Lewis and Wood embroidered headboard on a king-sized bed, matching window-seat and hand-painted botanical light fitting. Its bathroom is shared with Painted Lady.
Painted Lady
Furnished with a beautiful hand-painted super-King bed, painted floorboards and original Frampton Flora watercolour, the feel of this room is floral and fresh; it’s antique faux-bamboo bed can be split to create a pair of twin beds upon prior request. The bathroom is shared with neighbouring Green Underleaf, and is adorned with Lewis and Wood wallpaper above painted timber panelling, free-standing bath and soaker shower.
Maiden's Blush
This bedroom is bursting with character, with a vintage brass bed, exposed roof timbers, original elm floorboards and colourful Indian wall-hanging. The shared family bathroom is across the landing, with soaker-shower and free-standing bath with views across the countryside; it is beautifully furnished with hand-painted Mexican tiles and Guatemalan baskets adorning the walls.
Gypsy Red
Unique to The Cyder House, we have created a magical dormitory-style bedroom with four hand-painted cabin beds, inspired by traditional gypsy wagon design and artwork. With their own curtains, lighting and in-built storage, the beds are a favourite with children, or alternatively if being used by adults the double mattresses offer ample space. The bathroom is shared with Maiden’s Blush.
